The pencil cactus, or Euphorbia tirucalli - also commonly called milk bush due to its thick, white sap - is native to semi-arid tropical regions of Africa and India. Euphorbia tirucalli has many names throughout many languages and cultures due to its numerous uses in traditional medicine practices. Some people experience a rash when coming into contact with the sap, and great care should be taken to avoid accidentally rubbing the sap in one's eyes or mouth. We do not recommend this plant for anyone who has children or animals.

Dieffenbachia Camouflage is an eye-catching plant with uniquely patterned foliage on large, lush leaves. While relatively easy to care for, it does prefer bright environments though can burn if placed directly in a bright southern facing window. Like all dieffenbachias the 'Camouflage' likes to be kept on the moist side and should not be allowed to dry out. Leaves will take on a droopy appearance if under watered so be sure to monitor the shape of the plant. This is a very pest resistant plant and makes a great visual statement. The Dieffenbachia does best in high light situations, but can get by in medium light after an adjustment period. They typically shed leaves immediately after being transplanted, but will sprout new growth at a rapid rate, so any yellowing leaves can be pruned away worry-free. They do not respond well to overwatering, so err on the side of caution when giving them a drink.

This bright pink Anthurium lives up to its nickname, the flamingo flower. Rarely without their showy blooms, Anthuriums are know as the world’s longest blooming houseplant Each bloom can last up to eight weeks, and new ones will pop up often. These aren’t actual flowers, but modified waxy leaves. Anthuriums flourish and bloom best in bright indirect light.

The Ficus Alii ( Ficus maclellandii 'Alii') has long, thin leaves, making it a favorite statement tree for those looking for a graceful, refined aesthetic. It exhibits a true tree form with a narrow trunk topped with willow-like branches that will broaden for a full canopy as it matures. Despite its elegant looks, this is one of the easier ficus to care for indoors. New growth often has a golden-bronze hue that transitions to a deep, olive-like green as the leaves mature. The Ficus Alii is native to Southeast Asia, and as such can be sensitive to cold water which can cause leaf loss. To be safe, hydrate your plant with room-temperature water.

The Ficus "Audrey" ( Ficus benghalensis) has a striking, minimalist aesthetic, with deep green velvet leaves and a white trunk that thickens as the plant matures. Also called a Banyan tree, over time these trees will send out arial roots that appear as vines. Care for the Ficus Audrey is on the easier side for ficuses: it appreciates bright, indirect light and regular waterings with a dry-out period in between, similar to its close relative the Rubber Plant. The stalk usually comes staked in these younger trees to ensure straight vertical growth of the trunk.

The String of Pearls (Senecio rowleyanus) is a flowering succulent plant native to South Africa. It is a hardy and easy to care for houseplant with spherical bright green leaves, that grow clustered closely in a trailing nature. It sprouts white, small cinnamon scented flowers once a year, even when kept indoors. Other common names for this plant are String of Beads, Rosary plant, String of Marbles and String of Peas. Often grown in hanging baskets, this plant is best hung near a window, or placed on a windowsill or shelf. With proper care and light these plants will grow quickly and can reach upwards of 8ft in length.

Dracaena Compacta is a structural, vertical pointing tree that exhibits a distinctive striped trunk topped with foliage. It's a great choice for people looking for a unique statement plant, and will keep its relative shape much longer than most plants. Slow growing and able to go longer periods between waterings, it's still one of the more difficult dracaenas to maintain. They require higher light than most dracaenas, and will acquire large yellow and brown spots on their leaves if lighting is inadequate. If placed far back from a window, it's important to rotate the Dracaena Compacta regularly to ensure the far side of the plant will receive light.

The Zamioculcas zamiifolia, better known and more easily pronounced as the ZZ plant, is one of the hardest plants to kill. In fact it’s so tenacious that the ZZ can regenerate itself from a single leaf cutlet. The ZZ's deep green, glossy leaves have a unique spread that look great on their own or in a cluster of plants. The ZZ prefers bright, indirect light, but can grow in low light conditions. The only real environmental concern is to make sure it doesn’t get cold. Keep the temperature above 65ªF and make sure to water it only when the soil is dry, and you’ll enjoy this plant for years to come.

Cereus is a genus of cacti (family Cactaceae) including around 33 species of large columnar cacti from South America. The name is derived from Greek (κηρός) and Latin words meaning "wax" or "torch". It has pale blue-green flesh and requires high light to survive.

With its elegant stems and vibrant white flowers, this Phalaenopsis orchid makes any space feel more chic. You may notice a small amount of blooms on your orchid upon delivery. These blooms will open quicker in a warm indoor setting. The Phalaenopsis will typically bloom about once a year, for up to three months. After a blooming cycle, the flowers will wilt and fall off. This is the orchid’s way to store up energy to re-bloom again next season.

It is similar in appearance to the String of Fishhooks, however the slightly smaller leaves have a ridge and split that truly resemble small dolphins jumping down the vines.  Like its sister Senecio succulents, it is a hardy and easy to care for houseplant. It sprouts white, small cinnamon scented flowers once a year, even when kept indoors. Often grown in hanging baskets, the leaves sprout along trailing vines that hang straight down in a beadlike formation. Ctenanthe Lubbersiana

The rubber plant, or Ficus Elastica, is a species of plant in the fig genus native to North Eastern India and surrounding regions. This plant was dubbed “the rubber plant” due to its sticky latex sap that was discovered to dry into a low quality rubber. However, this plant is not to be confused with the more famous rubber tree, (Hevea Brasiliensis) indigenous to the Amazon region of South America. The Ficus Elastica enjoys moderate to bright indirect sunlight. Its deep purple and green leaves have a waxy coat that provides a beautiful glossy sheen. New growth often also exhibits shades of pink within the veins, making this a colorful, yet elegant statement plant. With proper lighting and watering habits the rubber plant will grow quickly, often doubling in size within a year.

Affectionately nicknamed the beginner orchid, the popular Phalaenopsis orchid is one of the easiest varieties of orchids to grow as a houseplant. Peperomia Obtusifolia

The fiddle ­leaf fig tree, or ficus lyrata, is a species of plant within the fig genus native to the lowland tropical rainforests of Western Africa. It has a broad canopy with large, rigid leaves and prefers a high light space. When cared for properly, fiddle leafs grow quickly, and a small tree can double in size in as few as six months.
